Thrillerwire Download Channel Launched

Hi Everyone,
Here's the latest news for this week. Sadly, Publishing News in the UK, with whom we have exchanged news reports for several years, has been closed. We're looking for a UK correspondent to continue to report on important news from the other side of the pond.
Just a reminder to join bestselling Bonnie Hearn Hill for her FREE online class on Advanced Novel Writing. If you like it, you can sign up for the whole series. See details at www.authorlink.com/classroom/classroom.php. Also check out FINDING YOUR NOVEL'S VOICE, starting August 2 with New York Editor Stacey Barney as the instructor. You'll get one-on-one instruction in these online classes.
We're pleased to report that the International Thriller Writers Association and Authorlink have teamed up to present excerpts from the latest thrillers on Authorlink's new THRILLERWIRE. Check it out at www.authorlink.com/thrillerwire . And let us know what you think.

FREE online writing class and more!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know about the exciting writing classes we’re kicking off this summer, and you can try one of them for FREE. These classes are taught by top publishing pros and offer one-on-one instruction for your own manuscript.

Finding Your Novel's Voice; Making Characters Live: Hands-On Guidance From A New York Editor

Brief Description: A story is not just a story, but a set of choices an author makes about how to tell the story (Voice); the correct grouping of words (Language); who should "people" the story and why (Characterization); and what should your motley group of characters say to each one another (Dialogue). In this class, we'll explore these four elements and how to make the right choices about them in workshop format in order to create a successful novel.

Instructor: New York editor Stacey Barney

Course begins August 2. Enroll or find out more now!
